kabaw sa syudad

24x24 | acrylic | 2023

The carabao is seen as an important symbol of the hardworking nature of Filipinos, both in rural and urban areas. It is a reminder of the traditional way of life and the importance of agriculture in the Philippines, as well as the close relationship between humans and nature.

pamana

24x24 | acrylic | 2023

The beauty of 'pamana' in farming is that it helps to ensure that valuable knowledge and skills are not lost over time. The young farmers can learn from the older farmers and continue to use the traditional techniques that have been proven to be effective over many generations. Moreover, by passing down the tradition of using carabaos in farming, future generations will be able to continue to use these animals in a sustainable way, which is important for the preservation of the culture, the environment, and the economy.

ai revolution

34x34 | acrylic | 2022

"AI Revolution" depicts the conflict between humans and AI. It maintains a juvenile viewpoint by presenting a chaotic and terrific setting. The angles are intended to be off-balance and to throw off proportions, emphasizing the insanity and the screaming thought of the scenario. Modern technology and human communicate effectively that both are reliant on the other. However, from the artist’s perception, there is a possibility that AI may evolve and no longer require human intervention, leading to their taming of the planet and our extinction.

pool of freight

24x24 | acrylic | 2022

The painting "Pool of Freight" discusses women and dread; the pool is meant to represent the fear of veering off the route that society controls. Some women welcome it, while others dance, ignore it, and strive to conquer the fear. It is a question of taking action, but can you swim?

Digital works

I rarely draw digitally because I can not afford to buy materials to produce high quality digital works for now, I only draw through my tiny phone lmao. But it is a fun way to practice and do studies for my painting and plan out colors. I am also planning to study animation once I get the materials needed <33
